Description

Vuglec Breg is  unique ambience suited for a pleasant experience and complete enjoyment in the natural environment of Zagorje, a magnificently beautiful region of Croatia.

The estate stretches over an area of 12 hectares and from the peak of the hill, which is at about 300 metres above sea level one can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding hills dotted with houses, cottages and churches.

The renovated ''Vuglec Breg'' comprises a number of autochthonous houses (hiža) converted into accommodation for tourists, an old building which holds the restaurant, a wine cellar and a seminar hall. Right by the restaurant and along the first vineyard rows there is a pergola with a BBQ, a bread oven and a summer terrace.

On the northern side of ''Vuglec Breg'' there is a horse barn, a little pond, two tennis courts and two 'five a side' football fields, a playground for children, lawns and walking paths.

The beauty of the vineyard gives an extra dimension to the impression ''Vuglec Breg'' leaves on visitors and from spring to late autumn with its high quality grapes and luxurious colours it gives a magnificent appearance to the whole hill.

Guest are free to wonder around the estate or stroll through the vineyard, and are also welcome to take part in grape harvesting.

House Lac

House ''Lac'' is a traditional house of Zagorje. It retains its original shape but it has been adjusted to modern needs and comfort. The Suite has one apartment with four beds. It comprises a living room, a bathroom and a double room. Its historic look, rustic interior and old bread oven create a fable-like atmosphere.

Cottage Imbra

Cottage "Imbra" – which used to be a former wine cellar where the wine was stored, today, there is a luxurious double room with a bathroom, a private sauna, a terrace with wooden deck chairs and outdoor shower as well as a hydro massage pool "Softub", where you can take a bath during the whole year.
